Huge thank you to Emma and staff for kindly accommodating me and my family for a clay target lesson at such short notice. And thanks also to Andy for his excellent tuition to the non-shooters of the party. My husband has caught the bug and may well return for more practice in the near future!
I just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic session of clay pigeon shooting today. My wife, now to be known as dead eye Fi, has always wanted to do it and as part of a university tour of Scotland for our children we thought we should go for it. We could not have chosen a better place. The setting and set-up at Auchterhouse Country Sports is fantastic and we were lucky enough to be taught by Willy. If we make it back to Dundee we will be sure to come back.
The large adjacent car park, comfortable clubhouse and friendly welcome made Auchterhouse Country Sports a highly successful new location for The Black Grouse Charity Shoot. The Stands were testing but not too testing and the instructors on each stand were excellent. Both friendly and helpful with all ranges of ability. A well presented evening meal set the tone for a successful auction. Good to see such an efficient integrated family business.

Just a quick note to thank you for your tremendous support with this year's Shoot. The competition ran very smoothly and that's testimony to all the work you put in behind the scenes and on the day. We had quite a few new guests this year and without exception they have been highly impressed with Auchterhouse Country Sports and everyone who was helping on the day.
As you know, from a fundraising point of view, the day was a huge success, raising £190,000 after costs which will be split between our two charities - Maggie's Dundee and the JDRF research project at Ninewells.
Thanks again for everything you do to make The Shoot such a success.

Thanks for your support during our evening at Auchterhouse Country Sports. As I mentioned to you we had colleagues from around Europe and the US visiting our Scottish plant so we wanted to take the chance to build relationships with the team while having some fun. March evenings are short but you really pulled together a great event.
Very few of them had shot before and none had driven a LandRover "for real". With your teams expert coaching and encouragement plus some "supportive" comments from colleagues at the side lines we had a great couple of hours with lots of smiles and laughter. Being able to go directly from your cosy club house to The Pear Tree restaurant really kept the momentum of the evening going. Everybody commented that the food, service and facilities were all excellent. We will be back!

I just wanted to send a short email to say thanks for the great day we had on Saturday, the Bride really enjoyed the clay shooting as did all the girls that hadn't tried it before, quite a few that became quite competitive! Both instructors were great fun & patient with us girls!! Auchterhouse is a great place & would certainly visit again to try some of the other activities.
Thanks again, Louise
We had a great afternoon and everyone enjoyed the chance to try the clay shooting, but I think the 'cracker' of the day was really the cracker!! It is such an ingenious idea & got everyone in the car thinking about the necessity to have clear communications whilst still have a lot of gun.
